Craft Retreat Weekends

If you fancy a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then why not come along to a craft retreat. We will spend two relaxing days trying a variety of different crafts in a beautiful location. During the weekend you will get to make and hand sew a variety of felt flowers and create a stunning floral wreath. Try the fun craft of loom knitting and knit a cosy snood scarf, make a macrame plant holder and a pretty macrame necklace. Along with good food, wine tasting, cake and refreshments, it really is a treat of a weekend.

The retreat venue is the beautiful Old Walls Vineyard, located in the village of Bishopsteignton in South Devon and the retreat.

The retreat will be lead by me, Lyndsey. I am a qualified adult teacher and have been running craft workshops for the last 12 years. This will be the fourth weekend retreat at this fabulous venue and with numbers limited to 12 people there will be plenty of 1-to-1 instruction, so no previous experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided and there will be variety of materials available in a variety of colours to suit all tastes.

Our crafting room is on the first floor above the vineyard restaurant and overlooks the Teign Valley. Accommodation is in the self contained vineyard lodges which are just a short stroll from the restaurant overlooking the vineyard.
